As a former professional beach volleyball player, coupled with being a recent certified teacher in Ontario, Adam brings a set of coaching skills that are technically sound, as well as the ability to teach and communicate the message, idea or skill in a positive and inspiring way.
Standing at only 6’3, Adam made the senior national team in 2008 as the shortest blocker on the team. He was forced to find creative and intuitive ways to stay ahead and continue his journey as a professional beach volleyball player. Leading up to making the national team, Adam represented Canada in 3 Youth/Junior World championships, one with his older brother Paul, and the other 2 with Reid Hall where they finished 4th at the Under-18 World Championships in Italy.
In 2009 he captured the gold medal at the Canada Games, in front of the entire country on TSN, with his beach partner Reid Hall. Since then, Adam ran into shoulder dislocation issues which required surgery and the temporary hiatus in the sport of beach volleyball. Two years ago, Reid Hall and Adam teamed up to create Legacy Beach Volleyball Club that has been growing ever since. Their ability to inspire excellence out of their athletes, as well as having a strong technical background make them ideal coaches for athletes that are ready to take their game to the next level.
